"The Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (Ambassador Yuri Merzlyakov - Russian Federation; Ambassador Bernard Fassier - France; Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Bryza - United States) took part with the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrej Kasprzyk in the meeting of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Armenia Serge Sargsyan in Saint Petersburg, Russia on 4 June 2009.

Diplomats from 14 countries visit mass grave in GubaDiplomats from 14 countries accredited in the Kingdom of Morocco are on a visit to Guba-Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan, APA northern bureau reports. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan organized the visit of the foreign diplomats to make them familiarized with the country’s tourism potential.

Establishing GUAM peacekeeping battalion is not priority today: secretary general "Currently, establishing peacekeeping battalion is not priority of organization's activities," Chechelashvili told Trend News over telephone from Kiev. "Now we focus on development of concrete programs and projects on cooperation in economy, trade, transport, energy and tourism."

Hillary Clinton: “We believe a lot of progress has been made in relatively short period of time to resolve the issues over Nagorno Karabakh conflict, which are long standing”US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held a joint press conference on Friday. Secretary Clinton said she held wide and fruitful discussions with her Turkish counterpart, APA US bureau reports. The Secretary of State reminded that Turkey was among the countries where she and President Obama made their first official visits.
