Azerbaijan to build artificial islands in the CaspianArtificial islands expected to be built near the costs of Baku in the Caspian Sea, the government sources told APA-ECONOMICS. In the first phase, several islands will be created in 4-5 km off Baku, which will be connected with Baku via direct highway and maritime transport. The islands will be crated for the developing tourism sector.

Netherlands embassy to be set up in Azerbaijan Netherlands Cabinet of Ministers decided to set up the embassy in Baku, press-secretary of the foreign ministry Aad Meijer told Trend News over phone from the Hague. Netherlands foreign minister Maxime Verhagen addressed with setting up of the embassy.
The embassy will operate for Dutch enterprises and deal with cooperation in power engineering.
