SOCAR to develop gas exports feasibility study via Black SeaThe State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) intends to prepare a feasibility study its gas exports project to Georgia's Black Sea coast, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev said. "The preparation of the feasibility study will allow us to identify the most advantageous options [of gas exports via the Black Sea]. We have several options, including LNG and CNG exports. There are also possibilities for transit through Turkey.

Turkish FM: Occupation of Azerbaijani lands impedes cooperation in Caucasus The occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia complicated cooperation in the Caucasus on a regional and global scale, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said. In his article published in the Russia in Global Politics journal, Davutoglu wrote that Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani territory by Armenia impede economic growth and the development of human capital and natural resources.
