 All prisoners passed medical examination in Azerbaijan, Rafael Mehdiyev, Medical Department Head of the Justice Ministry told Trend News today. The purpose of medical examination of prisoners, kept in penitentiary facility 13, is to identify diseases at an early stage and to provide their treatment. During the examination special attention is paid to the timely diagnosis of tuberculosis, Mehdiyev said. |

 Prisoners will be able to participate in the judicial process without leaving investigative isolation ward, the Supreme Court head Ramiz Rzayev told journalists. "After putting investigative isolation wards, which will meet modern standards into operation in the future, the prisoners will be able to testify on the processes held in the Supreme Court via visual communication. The Supreme Court has such technical capabilities," he said. |
