Re-registration of political parties can be considered after parliamentary elections: deputy chairman of Azerbaijan's ruling partyThe question of re-registration of the political parties can be considered after the parliamentary elections, said deputy chairman of Azerbaijan's ruling party. "The situation with these or other parties can be considered after the parliamentary elections," deputy chairman and executive secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), MP Ali Ahmadov told Trend News on Feb. 1.
According to Ahmadov, up to now a number of proposals have been made regarding amendments to the Law on Political Parties and the financing of parties from the Public budget. "I think they should be seriously analyzed. But all the questions that are interesting us as a party in 2010 are to prepare for the parliamentary elections," said the deputy chairman.
According to the executive secretary, perhaps in 2010 - the year of parliamentary elections - it will not be necessary to deal with issues that can affect the activities of political parties.
"Even there will not be time for this. Now the political parties focus on preparing for parliamentary elections," Ahmadov said./Trend/
