Azerbaijani municipal elections is on agenda of CE Congress Bureau discussionsThe Council of Europe's (CE) observation mission's draft report on the results of the Azerbaijani municipal elections held in December 2009, is among the key issues entering the agenda of the CE Congress Bureau meeting, the structure reported. The Central Elections Commission (CEC) registered 48,388 observers, including 1,160 local observers and 52 foreign observers to monitor the Azerbaijani municipal election that was held Dec.23.
The Congress Bureau will meet in Paris Feb.5. Figuring on the Bureau's agenda is the preparation of the 18th Congress Session to be held in Strasbourg (France), from March 17- 19 March 2010. Bureau members will discuss, in particular, draft texts concerning the climate change after the Copenhagen Summit./Trend/
