 Maharram Zulfugarli, head of ACSDA Election Headquarter opening the event with preamble noted that the Association organized monitoring of municipal election with participation of more than 300 local and foreign observers in the whole of Azerbaijani territory in December, 2004 and carried out an “exit-poll” investigation. |
 “ELS” Independent Research Center held an international conference within the frame of the project “Use of International Experience in Increasing Electoral Activity of Women” in the 24-25th of August in Ganja city. The conference was realized by means of support of Little Grants’ Program of Democracy Commission of US Embassy in Azerbaijan. |

 Asif Bayramov, the chief of Zagatala regional representation of the Association for Civil Society Development (ACSDA) met with Ms. Catherine Cleeve, the Secretary on Political Affairs of UK Ambassador in Azerbaijan at the regional office on August 18, 2010. "We applied to the Finance Ministry to increase the funding. Today we have numerous and interesting ideas and initiatives. Unfortunately, we can not fund them," Guliyev said. |

 An international conference entitled “2010 Parliamentary Elections in Azerbaijan: more democratic, more transparent” has started in Baku on Friday. The conference was organized by the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (ACSDA) and French “Eurasia – New Horizons”. Chairman of “Eurasia – New Horizons” Thierry Mariani said Azerbaijan achieved a number of successes in a number of spheres, including political field. He said he believed that the parliamentary elections in autumn would also be democratic. |

According to Rule of submit, form and content of annual financial report of non government organization the non government organizations must submit the annual financial reports till April 1 of after the end of report period. |

 The list of consulters for working out financial reports on the outcomes of 2009 to be presented by NGOs to the Ministry of Finances is defined. 16 people are considered to be involved. The expert of the Ministry of Finances will conduct the last training for the members of the consulting group on February 18, 2010. The consulters will start to their activity in the appointed addresses on February 22. |
 The Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan has publicized its report on the Azerbaijani municipal elections scheduled for Dec.23 at the Trend International Press Center today. ACSDA Elections Staff Head Maharram Zulfugarli said the association plans to observe the election process at 1,600 district election constituencies of 49 constituencies. |

 Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (ACSDA) carried out its training for the observers who will monitor the municipality elections. By opening the event the representative on the north region of ACSDA Solmaz Mehdiyeva gave detailed information about the works done. Later the head of Election Headquarter of ACSDA Maharram Zulfugarli informed the participants about the principles of the observation, the works of the observers, their duties and responsibilities in the municipality elections. |
