President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan have held a one-on-one meeting in Ankara.

The successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all areas was hailed at the meeting.

The importance of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to Turkey in terms of the development of bilateral ties was pointed out.

The sides underlined the successful development of relations in a number of areas including in political, economic, and energy ones, expressing their confidence that the bilateral cooperation between the two countries will continue developing.

The importance of the jointly implemented global projects was emphasized.

The presidents also exchanged views on bilateral relations and a number of other issues of mutual interest.
