Member of UK Parliament Mike Hancock is monitoring the referendum in Azerbaijan in composition of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) mission. Hancock believes Azerbaijani people agree with amending the Constitution.
“Opinion poll which I conducted at polling stations in Baku made think people agree with amending the Constitution,” Hancock told Trend News.
There are not any problems at the moment and impression on it is positive, he said.
The monitor noted women’s and youths’ activity in voting.
Hancock monitored the referendum at polling stations in the Nasimi District of Baku. /Trend/
