Azerbaijan’s State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons has appealed to the international organizations for returning the body of an Azerbaijani soldier, the Commission told AzVision.az Nov. 23.

Urgent measures are being taken regarding this issue. The public will be informed.

Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry noted, the body of the Azerbaijani serviceman, Bahruz Jalilbayli, who left the service place after committing a military offense, was found on the contact line at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border in the direction of the Ordubad District of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, near the positions of the Armenian armed forces.
