The General Meeting of representatives from Azerenergy OJSC, Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) and Uzbekistan National Electric Grid JSC, which were participants of Green Corridor Union LLC, was held at the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry told AZERTAC.

Deputy Energy Minister Orkhan Zeynalov stressed the importance of the Azerbaijan-Central Asia Green Energy Corridor project and noted that this project brings cooperation between countries to a new level. In this context, it was noted that the successful activity of Green Corridor Union LLC is of particular importance.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the involvement of a consulting company for the implementation of feasibility studies and other organizational issues. At the same time, it was agreed to appoint Tural Aliyev as the new General Director of Green Corridor Union LLC and increase the authorized capital of the company.

The meeting ended with signing of relevant documents.
