Closing ceremony of “Nakhchivan, the Capital of Islamic Culture-2018” held

The closing ceremony of “Nakhchivan, the Capital of Islamic Culture-2018” has been held at Heydar Aliyev Palace in the city of Nakhchivan.

Prior to the event, Deputy Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Amina Al-Hajri, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Abulfas Garayev and members of the Organizing Committee laid flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev. They also visited Heydar Aliyev Museum.

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, head of the Organizing Committee Vasif Talibov, Deputy Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Amina Al-Hajri, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Abulfas Garayev and Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Firat Purtas attended the closing ceremony of “Nakhchivan, the Capital of Islamic Culture-2018”.

Speakers at the event included Minister of Culture of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Natavan Gadimova, ISESCO Deputy Director General Amina Al-Hajri and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Abulfas Garayev.

The event was followed by a concert.
