President: The day will come when Azerbaijani flag will be hoisted in the retaken lands and paraded at Azadlig Square

“Azerbaijan`s flag was raised in the lands freed from occupation as a result of the April battles in 2016, Nakhchivan operation in 2018. This is of huge moral importance. Those flags will be on display during today`s parade at Azadlig Square,” said President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev at a solemn military parade marking the centenary of the establishment of Azerbaijan`s Armed Forces.

“The day will come when the Azerbaijani flag will be hoisted in our currently occupied lands after liberation and brought to Azadlig Square to be put on display at a military parade. We should and we are bringing that day closer,” the President added.
