



The First Azerbaijan-Türkiye was held in Shusha on November 24.
Organized by the Azerbaijan’s Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), the event brought together heads of leading analytical institutions, experts, and representatives of academic circles from both countries.
The forum featured opening remarks by Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of AIR Center, and Polat Safi, Chairman of the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
In their remarks, the speakers highlighted the forum’s significance for regional integration, strategic cooperation, and strengthening ties between think tanks. They emphasized the importance of further consolidating the institutional foundations and constructive role of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye strategic partnership in the context of emerging regional realities.
The event proceeded with three panel sessions covering foreign policy, economic cooperation, transport and communication projects, and the integration agenda in Azerbaijan–Türkiye relations.
The participants also discussed expanding the scientific and analytical cooperation between the think tanks of the two countries, implementing joint research projects, as well as drafting joint strategic reports, and holding regular forums.
