We need much time for speaking about this issue. We could speak for days and for hours. I am very grateful to all people visited this conference from abroad with my invitation and resign myself. You know, if someone is depressed all can be depressed, you remember all your sorrows and you grieve, but if someone is happy, you should love this nation in order to join this happiness. It is great to join our grief today and come here with us. Therefore I especially thank all people coming here.
I assure you, promise to the respectful citizens of the region faced this big damage, big tragedy and big crisis. Probably, you know me, I am an MP of Shamakhi and President of ACSDA, and you are familiar with my activities. I am not liar and always mentioned in my campaign: Lie is the biggest fault on the earth. Even the holy Koran says that, I apologize to the educated lady for my words, to tell a lie is worth than prostitution. We are not liars! ACSDA has got a big army – scientists’ army. You see, Mr. Chingiz is our colleague – he is a doctor of economic sciences, Mr. Rustam – doctor of legal sciences, others, our famous scientists, educated people, journalists and basically patriot youth with warm Azerbaijani blood. We have tied in order to fulfill all purposes of ACSDA, this will be strengthened much and will serve you.
We do so, because we have to defend our native land and our country. To my surprise, am I informed of the problems of brother Russia, Turkey, Greece, Finland or any region? No! You are also not informed. Every country, every nation should firstly solve its problem itself. For this purpose, you should help us to solve these problems.
How can you help us? ACSDA has coordinators in 6 regions regarding with this issue. They will work with you. You should help them. We ask you to gather information, apply to our websites and respond appeals; we want nothing else from you, because all our data should be based on you. We do this, because any moment planetary tragedy can happen. I don’t speak as enemy, but Armenians are very thankless. Why? We presented İravan, they will never say that it was presented by Azerbaijan. Never… Therefore so far Armenians haven’t given back even an inch of the occupied lands and we should be active in order to return these lands. We shouldn’t be quite, we should demand, we should cry for help. Otherwise new occupations will be started 25 years later. I mention this fact in PACE that if tomorrow a dam will be broken as a result of natural disaster for any reason, the international organizations and Armenians will throw the blame on the God and nature for the death of 400 thousand Azerbaijani people.
Namely for this purpose, we should work hard and call for help. You face a big biological and environmental disaster. There were 40 artesian wells during the Soviet time; today the head of Executive Power Mr. Djeyhun said that this figure is above 400. If oil runs out in 5-thousand meter depth, how can’t the water run out in 30 and 50 meters? It means that water runs out and biological disaster, environmental disaster begins.
You are in big economic loss. What is this economic loss? 6 regions of Azerbaijan, this area was a place of white gold – cotton and vine growing, which is the basic economy of Azerbaijan. 200 thousand ton cotton was produced only in Barda, but now only totally 1-10 ton cotton is produced in the whole region. This is a big economic danger. I counted the damage caused by Armenia as a result of occupation in amount of approximately 431 billion USD, however loss of your 7 regions within 22 years probably conforms to this figure. We will deliver all these to the world, but we need your help in this and you need only one thing in this issue. What is it – you should be an ordinary citizen and patriot. I counted; there are 30 empty armchairs and I worry much about this. 30 people should stand on feet by the door. As you see, 8 world media representatives and these respectful experts have come from 4 countries of the world in order to help us.
This is not an ordinary meeting, this is not a meeting held by the head of Executive Power, not a meeting held by any official, this meeting is of great importance as you wade in water when you are very thirsty, as you grab a glass and even you drink water from the tap when you are so thirsty. You have left without Tartar and without water. You should be here to help those who came to help Tartar. Not only the head of Tartar region, but also the heads of other regions should be here today. We have invited them, but they had to come here with their team even without invitation.
We have to hold such conferences in future not in close buildings, but in open air with thousands of people. Because, these pictures, these speeches should be delivered all over the world and inform they that Azerbaijan population suffers and worries of this occupation, stand on and face humanitarian tragedy. We have to do this with you. Not me, my Greece friend, Finnish friend, namely you have to do it and you should be patriot for doing it.
Our main difficulty in this work is that Armenian’s propaganda machine works out and away with us. If our train’s speed is 80 in Azerbaijan, speed of Armenian’s propaganda train is 350 in France. This propaganda train should work in Azerbaijan. Our media should be active for this purpose. You should write them, disturb them. You see, all these problems should be solved. I will not leave you alone in this issue. We will always help you. I call on all the citizens of Tartar region beginning from a little child to the oldest man to release Sarsang and to fight for the effective use of Tartar River. Good-bye. Thanks.
