Baku will host ministerial meeting on the International Energy Charter at the end of 2020, the Secretary General of the Energy Charter Urban Rusnak said at the International Energy Charter Forum in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, the IEC will start negotiations with Azerbaijani government at the beginning of 2020: “Our cooperation with Azerbaijan is not limited to only renewable energy sources. We hope that the works in renewable energy sphere will be completed by end of this year. At the same time, a law on energy effectiveness will enter into force. Discussions will be held with Azerbaijan in early 2020.”
