ACSDA conducted training for the north region observers in Khachmaz

Azerbaijan (ACSDA) carried out its training for the observers who will monitor the municipality elections. By opening the event the representative on the north region of ACSDA Solmaz Mehdiyeva gave detailed information about the works done. Later the head of Election Headquarter of ACSDA Maharram Zulfugarli informed the participants about the principles of the observation, the works of the observers, their duties and responsibilities in the municipality elections. He also gave detailed information about 11 books on elections and referendum between 2004-2009 published by ACSDA as well as about “Guideline – monitoring of the 2009 municipality elections” prepared by ACSDA Election Headquarter.
The associate of the Election Headquarter Osman Agayev talked about the activities to be done by the operators contating with the observers on election day.
At the end of the meeting the participants were presented with the needed materials and different questions of the observers were answered.
