The observation group comprising the European public organizations, as well as representatives and experts of the Non-Government Organizations (NGO) positively assessed results of the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
“The elections in Azerbaijan met international democratic standards. High technologies were used in the elections process,” the observation group said on 16 October.
The Group includes 34 international observers of seven European countries. The international observers followed the election process in Baku and several regions of the country, especially in Guba. For the first time, two French observers followed the elections at remand prisons, including woman prison, man prison and hospital for prisoners. /Trend/
