Over the past 24 hours, Armenia’s armed forces have 84 times violated the ceasefire along the line contact between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told APA on May 29.

The Azerbaijani army’s positions in Gaymagli village and on nameless heights in Gazakh district came under fire from Armenian outposts located on nameless heights in Armenia’s Noyemberyan and Ijevan district.

Meanwhile, Armenia’s armed units stationed on nameless heights in Berd district opened fire at the Azerbaijani army’s positions located in Aghdam village of Tovuz district.

Positions of the Azerbaijani army in Goyali village and on nameless heights in Gadabay district were also shelled by Armenian armed units stationed on nameless heights in Gadabay district.

Positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled from the positions located near the Armenian-occupied Goyarkh, Chilaburt, Yarimja villages of Tartar district, Shikhlar, Bash Garvand, Javahirli, Kangarli, Yusifjanli, Marzili villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino village of Khojavend district, Ashaghy Veysalli, Garakhanbeyli, Garvand, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli, Gorgan, Kurdlar, Horadiz villages of Fuzuli district, Nuzgar and Mehdili villages of Jabrayil district, as well as from positions located on nameless heights in Goranboy, Tartar and Khojavend districts.

Meanwhile, on May 29, Armenian armed units stationed in the occupied Gorgan village of Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli district struck a combine harvester working in a grain field; however, no one was hurt in the incident.
