Report informs that family members, relatives of the deceased, Minister of Culture Anar Karimov, and public and political figures attend the funeral.

Azerbaijan is bidding farewell to Tahir Salahov, a prominent representative of Azerbaijan’s fine arts, world-famous artist, People’s Artist of the USSR and Azerbaijan, vice-president of the Russian Academy of Arts, laureate of state awards.
The ceremony is taking place at the house of the People’s Artist in Icheri Sheher.
Family members, relatives, and public and political figures of the deceased are attending.
Later, Salahov’s body will be taken to the First Alley of Honors for burial.
People’s Artist Tahir Salahov died aged 92 in a hospital in Germany on May 21.
