Members of the election campaign headquarters of the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (AVCIYA) had a meeting at the OSCE Baku Office on Thursday.

AVCIYA representatives told of the work done by the organization during the 2004 municipality elections, 2005 parliamentary elections and plans concerning electoral education, election monitoring, exit-poll and quick-count at the upcoming presidential elections slated for later this year.

OSCE Baku office employee Gulyan Marcard-Narten spoke about the planned work concerning presidential elections, saying the Office is ready to cooperate with the AVCIYA in terms of electoral education and election monitoring.
