A new sports and recreation park has been inaugurated in Sabail district, Baku.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev viewed the conditions created at the park.
Head of Sabail District Executive Authority Eldar Azizov informed the head of state about the work done here.
The construction of the park, which occupies an area of 1.7 hectares, started in May, 2017.
The design of the park was developed by world-renowned architects and designers based on the English project and was implemented in Azerbaijan for the first time. There are two basketball, handball, mini-football pitches and different sporting facilities in the park.
