A presentation of the retro carriages, which were restored on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Baku Metro, has today been held at the Icharishahar station.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev viewed the carriages.

Chairman of Baku Metro Station Closed Joint Stock Company Zaur Huseynov informed the head of state of the retro carriages.

President Ilham Aliyev then went from the Icharishahar metro station to the Nariman Narimanov station by a retro carriage train.

The Baku Metro, which celebrates its 50th jubilee, features 25 stations, one electric depot and three lines of 36,6 km length.

After viewing the retro carriages, President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Baku Metro staff on the occasion of the 50th jubilee and wished them new successes.
