“Members of the European Parliament should participate in the debates on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” said Vice-President of the European Parliament Heidi Hautala at the plenary meeting of the 6th session of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.

“The OSCE Minsk group deals with this matter and puts forward concrete proposals. But other international organizations may also contribute to the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.”

“Although the OSCE Minsk Group deals with the problem, I think members of the European Parliament should not avoid attending debates on this dispute,” she added.
