The international conference “Bridge laying”, organized by the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan and the Institute for European Affairs has completed today.
Head of the Institute for European Affairs Jurgen Gramke said that the conference was very productive. He expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for the event.
Jurgen said that Azerbaijan is a bridge between East and West, and the development of Azerbaijan means strengthening of the bridge.
Chairman of the Association for Civil Society Development Elhan Suleymanov thanked all the foreign guests for their participation in the event.
“Holding this event in Azerbaijan shows that our country is a reliable partner for Europe,” he said. “Taking into account that we talked about joint activity in various spheres, I am sure there will be some serious results.”
The international conference entitled “Bridge laying” opened on September 27.
Such topics as “Cooperation with Europe,” “Economic ties between Azerbaijan and Europe,” “Education and Science” have been discussed for two days.
