President Ilham Aliyev has been named “Head of State of the Year” in Turkey by the criteria of sincerity, businesslike manner, success and a friend of the Turkish state, according to Chairman of the Federation of Turkish-Azerbaijani Associations Bilal Dundar.

He said the selection was made by 145 civil society institutions in 16 regions of Turkey.

Bilal Dundar said the “Head of State of the Year” award will be presented to President Ilham Aliyev in January, 2019.
