The Second Meeting of the Heads of Intellectual Property Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), organized by the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, commenced in Baku on October 12.
Prior to the meeting, participants paid tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev by visiting his grave at the Alley of Honors.
At the opening ceremony, Kamran Imаnov, Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, read out President Ilham Aliyev’s address to the participants.
Holding the meeting in Azerbaijan during the country’s chairmanship of the OTS is of great significance, as it is expected to strengthen cooperation within the organization, promote Azerbaijan’s initiatives in intellectual property, reinforce institutional ties with member states, and highlight the country’s active role within the OTS.
