“Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic have established a strong foundation for expanding economic cooperation, with bilateral trade exceeding $800 million in 2025 and reaching approximately $760 million in January–August this year,” said Yusif Abdullayev, representing Azerbaijan, at the Azerbaijan–Czech Republic Business Forum.
Abdullayev noted that crude oil remains Azerbaijan’s main export to the Czech Republic, with exports exceeding $700 million in value during the first eight months of this year.
“The Czech Republic ranks eighth among Azerbaijan’s main trading partners and fifth among its leading export destinations. Fertilizers, methanol, aluminium, as well as certain fruits and vegetables, have significant export potential in the Czech market,” he added.
