ACSDA holds roundtable of presidential candidates

Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (ACSDA) held a roundtable with the participation of the presidential candidates. Addressing the event, ACSDA Vice-President Vali Alibayov spoke about the activity of his organization in the election process. Chief of ACSDA electoral staff Maharram Zulfugarli said the association would conduct observation and exit polls during the elections and trainings for it would be finished on October 11, APA reports. Zulfugarli said election educative trainings were restricted in some regions, particularly in Mingachevir. Presidential candidate Hafiz Hajiyev criticized TV channels and international organizations, particularly International Republican Institute and National Democracy Institute for their pre-election activity. Presidential candidate Fazil Gazanfaroglu called the OSCE’s last report on the pre-election atmosphere as a tendentious. Presidential candidate Gudrat Hasanguliyev’s representative Elchin Mirzabayli also criticized the OSCE’s report. /APA/
