Azerbaijani NGO to hold workshops for observers on eve of parliamentary elections

The Electoral Staff of the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (ACSDA) in accordance with the program of activities in connection with the parliamentary elections has started workshops in the regions. Under the leadership of the Electoral Staff the Association’s 43 members will hold trainings for observers in the country’s regions, the ACSDA said.
Two groups consisting of the Electoral Staff’s employees were assigned to a duty in the regions to control trainings. It is envisaged to complete training in the regions till Oct.15.
Training will also be organized for observers, who will participate in monitoring of the electoral process in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron region.
Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for Nov.7. /Trend/
