Today, regional meeting was held in the framework of the project “Call of Sarsang”implemented by Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (ACSDA) at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Yevlakh City on April 18.
Awarding ceremony of the winners was held on the topic of “Call of Sarsang” among the young artists and journalists in the framework of the project towards the prevention of humanitarian catastrophe in Sarsang reservoir. Conference moderator Vali Alibayov, Vice-President of ACSDA informed the participants about the project. Then, Elkhan Suleymanov MP of Shamakhi and President of ACSDA emphasized the importance of the project and congratulated the winners. The winners of the competition among artists and journalists were awarded by accordingly ElshanHajizada, honored artist, head of jury and poet Musa Yagub, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Free Speech Foundation. The winners were: 1st place Orkhan Asadov for his “Karabakh Anguish” work, 2nd place Aziza Mammadli, and 3rd place Nazrin Mammadova. After the awarding ceremony, project coordinator Samir Isayev gave additional information about the works done in the framework of the project.
